I was born in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Powdersville as a child. With an imagination that knew no bounds, I was always drawing and building things in my free time, so when I headed off to college, art was the obvious choice for a degree. I went to Anderson University and got a Bachelor of Arts with the dual concentrations of Studio Art and Graphic Design. After spending the last two years taking every chance I could get to volunteer at church, school, and art camp with children from 2 years old up through elementary age, I realized that sharing the love of art with kids was what I wanted to do with my life. In my free time, I enjoy snuggling up on the couch with my cat and a good book, or staying up late to watch movies with my twin sister, Courtney!
