A couple of weeks ago, the Prepper class did their last shape project by creating a robot out of cut out shapes. They then got to draw the robot they had created. I was really impressed with how far they’ve come in learning to draw shapes—especially triangles, which can be tricky.
To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, we made Lorax trees. We colored a rainbow background and then made trees out of construction paper and tissue paper. For St. Patrick’s day, we made rainbow bead bands, where each student got to try to match the beads with their pipe cleaners. They did a really great job taking their time to get the right colors, and were even super helpful with clean-up when we had some beads escape the table.
