Preppers: Painting with Primaries

In the Prepper class, we’ve been learning about color mixing. We worked with paint and crayons in our practice projects, including a simple landscape and a rainbow. The landscape had a blue sky and a yellow sun, giving us the colors we needed to mix up the green grass. The rainbow drawings were made entirely with red, blue, and yellow, which could be mixed to make the remaining three colors. Between projects, my friends were free to work with glue, stamps, crayons, bingo, and Play-Doh. This week, we’ll be doing one more activity with color mixing, and then we’re moving on to something new.
